Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Team Member (English Transcription) based in Chennai. The Team Member will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio and video recordings into written text, ensuring grammatical and spelling accuracy, and adhering to deadlines. Additional tasks include reviewing and proofreading transcripts for quality assurance, conducting minor editing where necessary, and maintaining confidentiality of all transcribed materials. Team members will also need to collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and accuracy in transcription.

Qualifications

• Strong transcription skills, including accurate and fast typing abilities
• Excellent grammatical and spelling proficiency in English
• Reviewing, proofreading, and minor editing skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with transcription software and tools is a plus
• Previous experience in transcription or a related field is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field is beneficial
