Team Leader - Peer Review Administrator

As a Team Lead in the Journal Editorial Office, your role involves overseeing the publication process from submission to decision. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading a high-performing team to ensure timely and accurate processing of manuscripts - Managing and coordinating the workflow of editors, reviewers, and authors - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain editorial policies and quality standards - Conducting regular meetings to discuss progress, resolve issues, and provide feedback - Fostering a collaborative work environment for the professional growth of team members - Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in scholarly publishing - Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and publication guidelines - Handling escalated issues and inquiries while maintaining positive relationships with authors and reviewers - Continuously improving operational efficiency and streamlining processes for enhanced productivity and quality Preferred candidate profile: - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience - Familiarity with scientific publishing standards, peer review best practices, and ethical guidelines - Experience in online peer review systems and manuscript screening - Rich knowledge in the relevant subject background - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Collaborative team player committed to professionalism and integrity in scientific research and publishing - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel Please note that the work location can be in Chennai, Pondicherry, Trichy, or Noida based on your preference.,
