Role Overview: You will be the Team Leader for Engineering Operations at our Hyderabad office, overseeing a team of technical professionals specializing in DevSecOps, DevX, and SRE. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and supporting the team, aligning their objectives with the company's broader goals, and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a cross-functional team of technical engineers focusing on infrastructure, automation, security, developer tooling, and reliability. - Drive career development, performance management, and mentorship for direct reports. - Partner with global leadership to understand team priorities, direction, and processes. - Ensure flawless execution, ownership, and accountability across the team in alignment with the strategic direction. - Foster a collaborative team culture emphasizing psychological safety, inclusivity, and accountability. - Collaborate on resource planning, recruitment, and onboarding in coordination with global leadership. - Identify and eliminate team roadblocks and inefficiencies while maintaining high velocity and predictable delivery. - Act as a liaison between global leadership and local teams, ensuring representation of local stakeholders' concerns to global leaders. Qualifications: Required: - 7+ years of experience in managing technical roles like DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a formal people management position. - Experience in establishing a high trust culture of engaged individuals. - Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing technical teams. - Proven track record in hiring top talent. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a global, distributed team. - Experience in agile environments and successful delivery of reliable technical solutions. - Understanding of key technologies such as Kubernetes, Datadog, and Azure. Preferred: - Previous exposure to the healthcare or fintech industry would be advantageous. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
