Team Leader - BIM and Pipe Stress Analysis

As a Pre-Construction Team Leader at Relay Human Cloud, you will play a vital role in managing BIM modeling and pipe stress analysis operations for specialized pipe support systems in various industrial settings like data centers, semiconductor facilities, LNG plants, and petrochemical industries. Your expertise in Caesar II pipe stress analysis will be crucial, and your strong leadership skills will be essential for overseeing the seamless integration of stress analysis, BIM modeling, and manufacturing processes. Your contribution will be pivotal in delivering precision-engineered pipe support solutions that meet the rigorous standards of mission-critical facilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, with a preference for a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in pipe stress analysis in industrial applications and at least 5 years of team leadership or supervisory experience are required. Your technical proficiency should include expert-level knowledge of Caesar II software, advanced understanding of ASME piping codes, familiarity with pipe support design principles, and experience with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for model integration. Additionally, your expertise in thermal stress analysis, pipe expansion calculations, vibration analysis, and dynamic loading conditions will be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities will involve leading pipe stress analysis operations using Caesar II software, ensuring accurate reflection of stress analysis results in 3D models through BIM modeling integration, establishing technical standards for stress analysis methodology and BIM modeling protocols, reviewing and approving all stress analysis calculations and pipe support specifications, ensuring compliance with industry codes and customer specifications, and coordinating with the manufacturing team to translate stress analysis requirements into producible components.
