Team Lead - Career Counselor

As the Team Lead – Career Counselor, you will lead a team of career advisors focused on helping students identify the right educational and career pathways abroad. You’ll oversee counseling strategies, ensure quality service delivery, conduct training, and contribute to business goals through effective team performance and student conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of career counselors to deliver high-quality student guidance.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for students on course and university selection based on academic background, preferences, career goals, and financial considerations.
• Develop and implement counseling frameworks, scripts, and best practices to standardize services across the team.
• Train new and existing counselors on international education systems, visa processes, soft skills, and sales techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance based on KPIs such as lead conversion, counseling quality, and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on international university admission trends, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities.
• Coordinate with marketing and admissions teams to streamline student journeys.
• Handle escalated student cases and provide resolutions that align with company standards.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and information sessions for students and parents.
• Report to senior management with regular updates, insights, and performance metrics.
