This role requires a strong understanding of solar photovoltaic systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the solar energy sector (residential, commercial, and industrial). • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for solar installations. • Design and size PV systems based on client requirements and site conditions. • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and system designs. • Liaise with clients to explain benefits, cost savings, and ROI of solar solutions. • Negotiate contracts and close sales. • Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution. • Stay updated with market trends, products, and competitor activities. • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. ⸻ Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. • Proven experience in solar PV sales or technical roles (minimum 2 years preferred). • Strong knowledge of solar systems, components, and grid connectivity. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope). • Ability to travel to customer sites. ⸻ Preferred Skills: • Understanding of local solar regulations and subsidies. • Certification in solar installation/design (optional but advantageous). • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for clean energy.
