Teaching

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver 2-hour experiential, inquiry-driven interventions – about 6-8 per week.

· Model constructivist methods and mentor shadow teachers.

· Co-develop and refine session plans with the core team.

· Support teacher capacity-building during pilot and rollout.

· Conduct baseline and endline assessment

• Track and reflect on student engagement and progress.

Abilities & Competencies:

· Deep belief in student agency and constructivist pedagogy.

· Strong facilitation skills: questioning, listening, and guiding.

· Passion for language, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary learning.

· Ability to co-learn and mentor without hierarchy.

· Fluent in English and with an Indian language (preferably Kannada)

· Strong STEM foundation and knowledge for dealing with students upto grade 12

• Adaptability to rural/urban classrooms and diverse learners.

Other information:

· During the SEP camp – will need to play the role of either camp mentor or camp organiser or both role additionally

· Prior teaching experience upto 2 years preferred

· Reports To: Program In-Charge

· Will need to travel to schools for taking the sessions

· Work from home option is not available

· Need to work with spreadsheets and presentations

Basic knowledge of using AI as an assistant in teaching and assessments essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
