Roundglass Sports is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Teacher to cultivate students interest in education and long-term development. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational sessions/activities, grading assignments, and evaluating student progress.

What

• Plan, prepare lesson plans and deliver lessons to students for the assigned class/subject(s) while ensuring high standards of professional practice
• Teach according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students
• Adopt and work towards the implementation of the school development plan for the learning center
• Assign work assignments and plan/contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students and/or groups of students
• Assess, record and report the development and progress of assigned student group(s)
• Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on future career development, providing information on sources of more expert advice
• Communicate, consult and collaborate with the School and cross-functional staff to progress students wellbeing; contribute to the professional development of new teachers and students and deliver proxy lessons as and when assigned
• Review and evaluate one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and programs in line with the National Curriculum Framework guidelines; participate in in-service education and training courses as well as in continuing professional development opportunities
• Maintain good order and discipline amongst students and always safeguard their health and safety; register and monitor the attendance of students
• Provide necessary information regarding requirements for assigned educational plans/activities; ensure safe custody and optimum use of office equipment and supplies required for educational work
• Utilize contemporary educational techniques and technological devices/aids (such as laptop, projector) during the delivery of the lessons.
• Engage in blended, experiential, collaborative, technology-aided lessons; create resources (audio-video lessons) for future use
• Contribute to planning/coordination of academic sessions, cultural events, assemblies, schedules and related annual calendar
• Ensure POCSO guidelines are followed strictly, and all safety protocols are implemented across the learning centre
• Regularly update and maintain maps, notes, notebooks, and booklets to support student learning
• Frequently update BOX to reflect lesson delivery, student progress, assessment outcomes, and all relevant academic records
• Be available to conduct virtual support or academic sessions for students who are away due to tournaments or external commitments, ensuring continuity in learning.

Has to teach secondary/senior secondary grades.

• Available to work during evenings on occasion
