As a member of the Hardware Board Design Team at Marvell, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining various components during the design phases. You will have the opportunity to work on next-generation SSD/HDD and Compute-based SoC products, platforms, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Develop board and system level design specifications based on technical marketing requirements. - Define and architect the board and perform schematic capture. - Collaborate with silicon design, package team, and board CAD team for package ball assignments, board routing, and layer count optimization. - Conduct signal and power integrity simulations on high-speed serial interfaces. - Provide PCB layout constraints, stack-up details, and document board design guidelines. - Work closely with design engineers, firmware engineers, and software engineers for functional verification and debug activities. - Validate board design functionality and qualify high-speed interfaces based on SI/PI simulation results. - Offer reference platform design characterization and design guideline documentation for customers. - Review customer designs with FAEs and board layout group. - Collaborate with FAEs on customer issues, lead root cause analysis, and corrective actions for hardware design issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or ETC/E&TC. - Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of experience or Master's degree with 2-5 years of experience in designing complex & dense boards for the client market using OrCAD tool. - Direct experience with DDR3/4, PCIe Gen3/4, SATA3, SPI, I2C interface design. - Hands-on experience with bus and network analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, TDR, and spectrum analyzers. - Expertise in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory. - Strong interpersonal, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills. - Proficient in debug, analysis, problem-solving, and leading root cause analysis across teams. - Ability to work with a sense of urgency, accountability, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a highly experienced and technically authoritative Principal Engineer specializing in Signal Integrity. The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in the field of interconnects, responsible for designing, modeling, analyzing, and characterizing high-speed connectors and systems. This role involves significant technical leadership, customer engagement, and conducting cutting-edge research to advance interconnect science. Primary Purpose: Design, model, analyze, and characterize high-speed connectors and systems . Act as a focal point in providing technical leadership within the team and to external stakeholders. Work closely with customers to develop application-specific solutions and provide comprehensive technical support. Conduct research on new and emerging areas of interconnects science , contributing to innovation. Be recognized by customers as a technical leader in the field of interconnects . Roles and Responsibilities: Discover and invent new techniques and methods in modeling, design, and measurement . Lead a team in developing major new products , guiding and directing the activities of multifunctional teams according to engineering management priorities. Perform high-speed empirical and analytical signal integrity evaluations of connectors . Recommend changes in designs or technical procedures to optimize performance and reliability. Conduct and coordinate analytical simulations for connector systems . Provide development input to design teams , and create electrical product models and documentation . Analyze variation dependence and perform parametric optimization . Work in a laboratory environment to validate designs and correlate measurements with simulations using instruments like VNA (Vector Network Analyzer), TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometer), and Oscilloscope . Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Education: Required: BSEE, BS Physics, or BS Applied Math . Preferred: MS and PhD in the above disciplines. Skills Sets: Required: Technical Team leadership . Software Proficiency: Ansys HFSS & Designer, CST, Agilent ADS & PLTS, Matlab. Test and Measurement Expertise: VNA, TDR. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our engineering team and support projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves designing, engineering, reviewing and maintaining instrumentation systems while ensuring compliance with organizational, client and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in process instrumentation, control systems and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools). Role & responsibilities Design & Engineering Prepare and review Instrument Indexes, DCS/ESD/PLC I/O LISTS and technical specifications. Develop and review datasheets for various instrumentation including control valves, on/off valves, safety relief valves, transmitters, gauges, level and flow instruments and switches. Ensure engineering designs meet project specifications, codes and standards. Document Review & Co-ordination Review P&IDs, Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Plot Plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and other relevant documents. Organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR) and identify document requirements for project execution. Co-ordinate Inter-Discipline Checks (IDCs) with other engineering teams to ensure integration of data inputs. Software & Tools Proficient in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) including modules for Specification, Index, Wiring and Loop Drawings. Technical Scope Work with various instrumentation types including: Pressure : Gauges, transmitters, switches. Temperature : Gauges, transmitters, sensors. Level : DP type, magnetic radar, ultrasonic transmitters, gauges, switches. Valves : Control, on-off, safety, breather, relief, rupture disk. Flow meters and associated instrumentation. Compliance & Quality Uphold high standards of ethics, safety and transparency in all engineering work. Ensure all documents and deliverables align with project requirements and client expectations. Other Duties Support installation, testing and commissioning activities as required. Perform additional tasks as assigned by project or engineering management. Qualification and preferred skills. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related discipline. 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical industry. Proficient in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) and MS Office tools. Strong understanding of international standards and industry best practices. Excellent communication, documentation and co-ordination skills. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams. Experience with EPC projects.
