Job Description

EXP- 4 -13 YRS Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have Oracle PL/SQL coding experience in queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers and Linux OS shell scripting experience. Database Performance tuning experience including indexes, query tuning and Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports. DBA activities like user maintenance, backup, restore, data refresh and patching. Operating in rotational and weekend shifts. Having Problem Solving, Logical and Communication Skills. Willingness to upskill in related technology as per project need. Good-to-Have Experience in Oracle GoldenGate Replication Knowledge of Python coding Knowledge in other databases like MS SQL Server, Neo4j etc. Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 End to end ownership of Oracle databases which includes development, support and DBA activities 2 New SQL reports or Unix/Linux scripts to be developed based on requirements. 3 Performance tuning of database and servers 4 Coordinate and validate the implementation of changes 5 Triage and troubleshoot issues, incidents and perform RCA 6 Work on all the processes defined under ITIL 7 Must be willing to work in rotational shifts (no night shift) and weekends (compensatory off will be provided) 8 Provide database support for all monitored and supported servers. 9 Technically lead and groom a team who are geographically distributed 10 Implement Intelligent automation, dashboards to reduce manual effort 11 Understand the overall technical architecture and implement improvements
