Tax Senior Associate - Ultra High Net Worth

As a Tax Senior Associate at RSM, you will be part of the Ultra High Net Worth Multi-Generational Families team, focusing on post liquidity families and corporate executives with complex estate and income tax planning needs. Your role involves taking a holistic approach to analyze various tax aspects such as income tax, estate, gift, generation-skipping, philanthropic, retirement, and trust planning in collaboration with clients and other advisors to achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing tax engagements, reviewing work for quality, delegating tasks to team members while providing coaching, and developing strong relationships with clients and professional advisors through outstanding client service. You will also review clients" current tax processes to identify inefficiencies and provide enhancements for a better client experience and reduced tax exposure. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field, 2-4 years of experience in handling High Net Worth Individuals (HNI), and the required coursework to sit for the CPA exam, be a licensed JD, or an enrolled agent. Strong communication skills, client relations, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities are essential. Additionally, solid technical skills in accounting, tax compliance, and research are required, with tax compliance review experience being a plus. Preferred qualifications include a J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation.
