Tax Manager (Direct Tax)

Tax Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of direct taxation.

Key Responsibilities

•      Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax obligations, including filing of returns, assessments, and TDS matters.
•      Prepare submissions for scrutiny assessments, rectifications, stay applications, and appeals before Income-tax Authorities and Appellate Tribunal
•      Represent clients before tax authorities and follow up on assessments, refunds, and stay orders.
•      Provide advisory support on corporate tax laws, regulatory matters, and tax planning strategies.
•      Prepare memos, presentations, and impact analysis on latest case laws and circulars.
•      Coordinate with audit teams on tax provisioning and tax audit finalization.
•      Lead and manage tax engagements, mentoring and developing junior team members.
•      Stay updated with changes in tax regulations, attend trainings, and conduct technical research.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•      CA or equivalent qualification;
•      5+ years of experience in direct taxation.
•      Strong knowledge of Indian corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
•      Experience in handling assessments, appeals, and tax advisory assignments.
•      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•      Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple client engagements.
•      Proficiency in MS Office.
