Visit us at: www.tathestaffing.com Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our client acquisition and business expansion initiatives in the Staffing and Skill Development domains. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building strategic relationships with corporate clients, industry partners, and government stakeholders to drive revenue and program growth under NAPS, NATS, WILP, and other skill development development schemes. Ideal candidate should be willing to travel. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and onboard new corporate clients across diverse industries for staffing and apprenticeship programs. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, HR heads, and CSR teams. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close business opportunities effectively. Develop and implement business strategies for government-linked programs such as NAPS, NATS, WILP, Learn & Earn, and other skilling initiatives. Collaborate with internal operations, placement, and training teams for seamless program execution. Explore and establish partnerships with training providers, industry associations, and educational institutions. Drive end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation to proposal development, agreement closure, and post-sale coordination. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and client acquisition goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and policy updates to identify emerging business opportunities. Work closely with the Director and internal teams to align business goals and client delivery. Maintain accurate MIS reports, client databases, and pipeline trackers. Prepare and present performance updates, business forecasts, and proposal documents. Represent the company at industry forums, client meetings, exhibitions, and business networking events. Support the marketing team in promotional campaigns, proposal presentations, and branding initiatives. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from any stream 3–7 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, preferably in staffing or skilling sectors. Proven record of client acquisition and revenue achievement. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to understand client requirements and customize staffing or apprenticeship solutions accordingly. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Should have strong technical skills and knowledge of tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator and Apollo. Willingness to travel to client locations on pan India basis as required. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills to ensure smooth execution of institutional and client engagement activities for skill development and staffing projects. Ideal candidate should also be willing to travel as required. Key Responsibilities: Assist Director in day-to-day operations, planning, and execution of staffing & apprenticeship projects. Coordinate with clients, government bodies, training partners, and internal teams for seamless implementation of NAPS / NATS / WILP programs. Prepare & maintain MIS reports, presentations, proposals, MoUs, and other documents as required. Attend client meetings, review discussions, proposal presentations and take clear minutes with action tracking. Conduct research, gather data, and support the Director in decision-making and process improvements. Follow up on key tasks, timelines, and project deliverables with internal & external stakeholders. Ensure professional communication & relationship management on behalf of the Director. Manage scheduling, travel arrangements, and meetings calendar. Ready to visit onsite to client locations. Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics or specific areas assigned by the Director or senior management to support strategic initiatives and decision-making. Ensure timely submission of compliance documents, agreements, and reports required under NAPS / NATS / Apprenticeship guidelines and other regulatory frameworks Support the Director in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs for ongoing programs; prepare summary dashboards for management review Regularly engage with industry partners, government officials, and training institutions to ensure smooth execution and address any escalations proactively Assist in drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for staffing and apprenticeship processes. Handle sensitive information, contracts, and correspondence with utmost confidentiality and professionalism Skills & Competencies: Strong communication skills (English & Hindi must; regional language is an advantage) Good command on email writing, drafting letters, and documentation Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage timelines. Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality, and professionalism. Familiarity with the latest tech and AI tools in the industry, should have good technical knowledge. Knowledge of NAPS / NATS / WILP programs (preferred but not mandatory if willing to learn) Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline Specialization in HR / Business / Administration will be an added advantage.
