This is a full-time on-site role for a Tandoori Cook to Indian Cook, located in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Tandoori dishes and other Indian cuisine. Daily tasks include marinating and seasoning food, operating Tandoori ovens, ensuring food quality and presentation, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace, and adhering to safety and health regulations. The candidate will also assist in menu planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

Professional cooking skills specifically in Tandoori and other Indian cuisine preparation
Experience in food marination and seasoning techniques
Knowledge of operating and maintaining Tandoori ovens and other kitchen equipment
Ability to ensure food quality and presentation meet restaurant standards
Understanding and adherence to food safety and health regulations
Good organizational skills and ability to manage inventory
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Relevant culinary certification or degree is a plus
