Tandem Developer - SRE

As a Tandem Developer - SRE at FIS, you will be part of a talented team responsible for maintaining the FIS Flagship Transaction Debit Processing Switch, Connex on HP Nonstop. Leveraging the Safe Agile framework, you will provide innovative data solutions that drive real business value for both internal and external customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze, design, program, debug, modify, and unit test software enhancements and/or new products. - Take personal responsibility for the quality of individual deliverables and contribute to the quality assurance of the team's deliverables. - Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or modifications. - Participate in Agile team meetings and ceremonies. - Create and revise all technical documentation related to coding and development. - Train new or junior developers on aspects of an application or system and development processes. **Qualifications Required:** - 7 to 12 years of experience in Connex or Base24 Development. - Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem development, including skills in performing requirement analysis, design, and coding in Connex or Base24. - Programming experience with TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL. - Experience with Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL systems. - Experience with Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe). - Attention to detail, diligence, and accuracy. - Excellent customer service skills for high levels of customer satisfaction. - Exceptional analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Willingness to share technical knowledge and expertise with other resources. - Resourceful and proactive approach in gathering information and sharing ideas. - Lead incident response, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis. - Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance. - Develop and test disaster recovery plans and backup strategies. - Manage deployment pipelines and take ownership of end-to-end delivery. **Additional Company Details:** FIS offers a competitive salary and a fantastic range of benefits designed to support your everyday life and wellbeing.
