We are seeking a talented and skilled Tamil Content Writer to produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content in Tamil for a variety of digital platforms. This role requires creativity, strong writing skills, and a deep understanding of Tamil language and culture. You will be responsible for crafting compelling articles, blog posts, product descriptions, social media content, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, engaging, and accurate content in Tamil for blogs, articles, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and style across all content.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure content is informative, accurate, and relevant to the target audience.
• Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure quality, clarity, and grammatical accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas and concepts into your writing.
• Work closely with other teams (marketing, design, and product) to align content with brand strategy and objectives.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar and meet deadlines for all content deliverables.
• Ensure content adheres to Talrop’s style guide and branding guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the tamil language (written and verbal) with a strong understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions.
• Prior experience as a content writer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Yoast, etc.).
• Ability to conduct thorough research and present information in a clear, engaging manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative mindset with the ability to adapt to different writing styles and tones.
• Knowledge of Tamil culture, trends, and regional nuances is a plus.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in writing content for social media platforms, blogs, or e-commerce websites.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
