Job Description

As an Enterprise Wi-Fi Support Engineer, your role involves ensuring that enterprise-level customers have a positive experience with their Wi-Fi networking services. You will address customer issues, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support to customers as needed. Key Responsibilities: - **Wi-Fi Expertise:** You should possess strong technical skills and knowledge of Wi-Fi networking systems, including standards like 802.11ac, 802.11ax, WPA3, roaming, captive portal, and controller functionalities. - **Network design and configuration:** You will be responsible for designing and configuring Enterprise Wi-Fi networks that meet customer's business requirements and industry best practices. This may involve conducting site surveys, selecting equipment, and configuring wireless network equipment. - **Security:** Your knowledge of Wi-Fi security protocols and best practices will be crucial for configuring and managing wireless security features such as authentication, encryption, and access control. - **Troubleshooting:** You should be adept at troubleshooting network issues, identifying problems with the Wi-Fi network infrastructure, and using network monitoring tools like Wireshark to diagnose and resolve issues. - **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for explaining technical issues to non-technical customers and collaborating effectively with internal teams. - **Customer Service Skills:** Strong customer service skills will enable you to handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally and efficiently. - **Problem-Solving Skills:** Your ability to identify and solve complex technical issues, as well as think creatively to find solutions, will be a key aspect of your role. - **Attention to Detail:** Having excellent attention to detail is necessary to identify and address all issues and potential areas for improvement. Qualifications Required: - 2 to 8 years of experience in Enterprise Wi-Fi and wireless technologies - Knowledge of L2 and L3 protocol, security, tunnelling, network service protocols, and Quality of Service (QoS) networking preferred - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required - Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP (routing and switching) and CWNE (CWNA + CWAP + CWSP) are preferred This job requires a candidate with a strong technical background in Wi-Fi networking, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues effectively.,
