As an Enterprise Wi-Fi Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that enterprise-level customers receive top-notch Wi-Fi networking services. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer issues, identifying areas for enhancement, and offering guidance and support whenever required. Your expertise in Wi-Fi networking systems is paramount. You should possess a strong technical understanding of various standards, protocols, and technologies utilized in Wi-Fi networking, such as 802.11ac, 802.11ax, WPA3, roaming, captive portal, and controller functionalities. Designing and configuring Enterprise Wi-Fi networks that align with customer business requirements and industry best practices will be a key aspect of your role. This may involve conducting site surveys, selecting suitable equipment, and configuring wireless network components like access points, controllers, and routers. Your proficiency in Wi-Fi security protocols is essential. You should be adept at configuring and managing wireless security features like authentication, encryption, and access control to ensure network security. Troubleshooting network issues, including signal interference, device connectivity problems, and network performance, will be part of your responsibilities. You should be well-versed in using network monitoring tools and protocols such as Wireshark and packet crafting to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial. You should be able to articulate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical customers and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams like sales and product management. Strong customer service skills are a must. You should be capable of handling customer complaints and inquiries professionally and efficiently. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you identify and resolve complex technical issues creatively. Attention to detail is critical to your role. You must possess excellent attention to detail to ensure all issues and potential areas for improvement are identified and addressed. Ideally, you should have 5 to 10 years of experience in Enterprise Wi-Fi and wireless technologies. Knowledge of L2 and L3 protocol and security, tunnelling, network service protocols, and Quality of Service (QoS) networking is preferred. Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Network Design Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer is advantageous. A minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with relevant industry certifications such as CCNP (routing and switching) and CWNE (CWNA + CWAP + CWSP).,
