Tableau Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  interactive Tableau dashboards

  , stories, and reports.
• Build and optimise

  Power BI dashboards

  , datasets, dataflows, and paginated reports.
• Develop

  Power Apps applications

  to support business processes and integrate with data sources.
• Create end-to-end

  workflow automations using Power Automate

  (cloud flows, desktop flows).
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, cloud data platforms, and Excel/CSV.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimisation, and visual design best practices.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and workflows.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and enhancements.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance across BI platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a

  Tableau Developer

  or BI Developer.
• Strong proficiency in:

• Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server

• Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Data Modelling)

• Power Apps (Canvas apps, Model-driven apps)

• Power Automate (Flows and Integrations)

• Strong SQL skills (joins, stored procedures, data modelling).
• Experience with ETL processes and connecting to various data sources.
• Good understanding of data visualisation principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Ability to work with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data processing.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Tableau or Microsoft certifications.
