We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tabla Teacher to join our music academy and inspire students through the rich tradition of Indian classical percussion. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Tabla performance and teaching, with the ability to instruct students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging Tabla lessons, preparing students for performances and examinations (including those affiliated with recognized boards), and nurturing their understanding of rhythm (Taal), compositions (Kayda, Rela, Tihai), and improvisation techniques.
The teacher should also collaborate with vocal and instrumental faculty to provide accompaniment and ensemble experiences for students. Qualifications:
Proficiency in Tabla with formal training (preferably from a recognized institution)Minimum 2 years of teaching or performance experienceAbility to teach both theoretical and practical aspectsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsJoin us in fostering the next generation of Tabla artists and enriching our vibrant musical community.
