What You'll Do
- Champion customer?focused testing practices, ensuring the customer's perspective influences product quality and decision?making.
- Design, implement, and execute robust test strategies for HPE storage offerings and integrated solutions.
- Rapidly gain expertise in external applications and validate integration feasibility with HPE storage products.
- Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Product Management and Development teams to understand features and come up with quick completion for
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and drive issues to closure by working across QA, product management, and support teams.
- Provide input to functional and design specifications; contribute to design documentation.
- Influence product quality by identifying coverage gaps, raising defects, and shifting testing upstream.
- Document test strategies, workflows, and results; provide clear recommendations to engineering and leadership.
- Execute and lead project teams of testers, driving collaboration with internal and outsourced partners to ensure delivery of cost?effective, high?quality validation solutions.
- Represent the testing team in all phases of larger, complex development projects and mentor less?experienced engineers.
What You Need To Bring
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 5-8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Knowledge And Skills
- Expertise in Storage protocols(FC, ISCSI, NFS, SMB and S3 )
- Hands?on experience with cloud, storage, and networking technologies, including Kubernetes and related ecosystems
- Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper?V, KVM) and enterprise backup solutions.
- Expertise in multiple software testing tools, frameworks, and languages.
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems for multi?platform validation.
- Experience with industry?standard tools (JIRA, test management platforms, S3 IO writing tools).
- Experience with Analytics and AI Application simulation and workload generation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to defect detection and resolution.
- Experience testing software systems across multiple platform types.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including test plan design, execution, debugging, and automation scripting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate test strategies, defect reports, and negotiate quality standards at management levels.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and testing workflows.
- Curiosity and adaptability to explore emerging technologies and apply them to enterprise?grade solutions.
