Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports complex operating systems, databases, utilities and Internet/intranet-related tools. Responsibilities: Develops complex systems programming and systems support activities, such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines and report generators Ensures effective language codes, processing routines, hardware use and use of database management techniques Manages updates to software, such as compilers, link editors, assemblers, OEM utilities, JCL, macros and subroutines Ensures development and reviews of operator and control instructions Manages system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software Manages programming tasks including program design, program coding, debugging and documentation Prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software Manages internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions Work may include company-wide, web-enabled solutions. Collaborating with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements Defining the vision for the team’s product and maintaining a cohesive vision throughout the process Creating a product road map based on this vision Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on changing requirements Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process Working with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints Qualifications: Preferred Education B.E./B. Tech in any streme.
