Roles and Responsibilities: As a Systems Platform Architect at Dynamic Yield, you will play a crucial role in the design, evolution, and stability of our systems and platforms. Your responsibilities will include: Requirements and Documentation: Collaborate with other architects, engineers, application teams, and users to gather comprehensive high-level requirements. Generate and maintain essential architectural products such as Technical Architecture Documents (TADs), technical documents, logical flows, and models to ensure continuous alignment and understanding among stakeholders as the application, system, or platform evolves. Ensure all architectural products and documents with architectural input remain current and never become obsolete. Problem Resolution & Research: Resolve architectural and operational issues impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally. Research and evaluate new technologies for potential deployment within Dynamic Yield's internet infrastructure. Project Leadership & Management (as assigned): Potentially assume lead and total accountability for ongoing regional projects, including planning, time and cost control, resource utilization, and implementation. Infrastructure Management & Support: Implement, manage, and support internet infrastructure components, leveraging current standards and best practices. Perform problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management for Dynamic Yield's internet components. Assure system stability and future compatibility by monitoring the production execution of all relevant systems. All About You Technical Expertise: Thorough knowledge and understanding of network, operating system principles, and web middleware . Thorough knowledge in one or more core functions related to internet infrastructure design and/or web administration . Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls . Working knowledge of Database technologies . Working knowledge of cloud technologies . Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and Network Micro-segmentation . Experience working with YAML-based deployments . Personal Attributes & Work Ethic: High-energy, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to function under pressure in an independent environment. High degree of initiative and self-motivation, demonstrating the ability to drive results. Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
