As a Business Systems Operations Analyst at our organization, you will collaborate with stakeholders, including internal clients, operations, and IT teams, to understand and document business requirements for transaction processing systems. You will play a crucial role in analyzing current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in transaction processing. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the integrity and accuracy of transaction data, implementing process improvements, and participating in the implementation of new systems or system upgrades. You will provide IT help desk level support to end-users, address system-related issues and queries, and ensure that transaction processing systems and practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Additionally, you will prepare detailed documentation, generate reports and analytics, and provide after-hours and weekend support for testing and disaster recovery exercises. In this role, you will support system maintenance, enhancements research and implementation, fund and ID administration, data analysis and mining, product support, and issue research. You will act as a system administrator for vendor and ABIS applications, design and implement new process workflows, and collaborate with internal development teams to create, test, and implement system enhancements. Managing multiple faade access consulting projects concurrently and engaging directly with clients will be a crucial aspect of the role. Furthermore, conducting research on industry trends and emerging technologies related to faade access will be expected. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with faade access systems, either in a consultancy or contractor capacity. Demonstrable knowledge of faade access systems, their performance, operation, engineering standards, practices, regulations, and legislation is essential. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Role & responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning: Review and analyze project requirements, system specifications, and product specifications. Develop comprehensive verification strategies and plans, including test architectures, traceability matrices, and test bench requirements. Define and implement a robust test automation strategy. Test Case Development: Develop comprehensive test cases covering functional, non-functional, regression, boundary value analysis, integration, system, performance, and robustness testing. Test Execution & Reporting: Lead and oversee the execution of verification tests. Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis. Generate comprehensive verification reports, including defect reports with clear descriptions and actionable steps. Teamwork & Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address testing challenges. Influence and guide colleagues on best practices in test methodologies and tools. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies. Stay up-to-date on the latest testing tools and technologies. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge: Sound knowledge of embedded systems concepts, including micro-controllers and peripherals. Product Verification Expertise: Proven experience in developing test plans, test strategies, and comprehensive test cases. Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies. Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams (firmware/edge, hardware, cloud systems) to understand requirements and develop test plan & strategy accordingly. o Ability to identify and assess potential risks associated with product testing and mitigation strategies for identified risks. Communication Protocols: Experience with various communication protocols, including Modbus TCP, Modbus Serial, Zigbee, Bluetooth. Test Automation: Experience in developing and implementing automated test scripts. Proficiency in using test automation frameworks and tools. Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages. Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English. Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously and manage daily test execution activities. Problem-Solving & Analysis: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
