System QA Engineer

As a QA Tester at our company, you will be reporting to the QA Manager and providing technical leadership while also being actively involved in hands-on testing of our products. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT company and hold an educational background in engineering (BE, B Tech, MCA). Your proven track record in authoring and testing test cases and test plans will be a valuable asset as you will be primarily responsible for testing our Test Engine and web application. **Responsibilities:** - Author test cases and test plans. - Execute test cases. - Submit and verify defects. - Conduct functional, regression, and performance tests. - Provide recommendations on methodologies and approaches to enhance overall product quality. **Skills:** - Proficiency in web applications, particularly in the Java area. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. - Self-starter with a keen interest in working for a start-up. - Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage deliverables effectively, and take on a lead role. **Education:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or related disciplines.
