System Plant Studies Team Manager- HVDC

In your role as the Team Manager at INOPC-HVDC, Chennai, you will oversee a group's strategy, operations, resource planning, competence development, and personnel growth. Collaboration with various cross-functional groups, suppliers, and customers will be essential. You will be a key contact within the organization, conducting analysis, risk management, and overseeing tender calculations and pricing models alongside the tender responsible. Your key responsibilities will include: - Plan resources for the medium to long term and allocate based on tender and project forecasts in coordination with the global organization. - Ensure departmental KPIs are met, such as on-time delivery, FPY, and productivity, while also achieving financial budget targets. - Review and approve techno-economic offerings in tenders/projects, assessing risks and opportunities. - Conduct regular reviews and follow-ups with project teams, cross-functional groups, suppliers, and customers. - Recruit personnel according to the headcount budget. - Conduct personnel assessments, set targets for direct reports, plan future scope expansion, and drive competence development and operational improvements locally. - Participate in strategic planning and develop a local strategy and roadmap for the unit. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Line Manager or Team Leader with a team size of at least 10+. - Basic knowledge in HVDC/FACTS/Substation is essential. - Experience in Primary design of HVDC/FACTS/substation is preferable. - Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are necessary. - Good intercultural sensitivity is required.,
