Job Description

As a part of the Smart Infrastructure Division at Siemens Ltd., you will be contributing to the global supply of products, systems, solutions, and services for the efficient and reliable transmission and distribution of electrical power. Your role will involve System Designing and Application Engineering for MV AIS panels, catering to both domestic and export requirements. Your main responsibilities will include conducting a technical review of order inputs, creating comprehensive engineering drawings such as GA, SLD, and schematic drawings, obtaining drawing approval from customers, and coordinating with various internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless project execution. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Medium voltage power distribution systems and AIS panels, familiarity with IS/IEC standards relevant to MV systems, proficiency in tools like AutoCADD, ELCAD, Promis, and E Base, knowledge of Protection Philosophy, and expertise in the control philosophy of substations. Effective communication skills, the ability to engage in technical discussions with clients independently, and experience in liaising with prominent Engineering consultants will be crucial for success in this position. Ideally, you should hold a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience. At Siemens, we value diversity, equality, and merit in our employment decisions.
