Key Competencies / Skills Prepare and review substation documentations, for example, protection diagrams, control and interlocking logics, AC and DC drawings, calculations, control and protection panel drawings, IED configurations, cabling and bills of materials. Experienced with schematic drawings and identify or locate mistakes, problem solving and conflict resolution, proven technical report generation, communication, customer interface skills multi priority and multi-tasking. Experienced with Calculations (CT/VT adequacy calculations, LV systems sizing and coordination studies, generator sizing, Battery and chargers sizing, LV cable sizing and voltage drop). Experience working on protection philosophies. Basic knowledge of communication protocols like IEC61850, LON, IEC104, IEC101-3, DNP. Experience in design software such as Elcad, AutoCAD. (ETAP, DigSILENT, PSCAD) is an advantage. Ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included. Lead development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges. Drive completion of all secondary engineering activities on the project Prepare project documents in your area of responsibility and deliver within budget, scope, and contract. Youll be designing the process level drawings for High Voltage Devices in GIS Youll be designing drawing for multiple projects / substations in India and abroad. Youll be preparing the Bill of Material and GA for the Local Control Cubical of GIS with conventional devices and/or BCU. Youll be working for High Voltage Manufacturing Hub. You are an Electrical Engineer (Diploma with 4-5 years of work experience / Graduate with 2-3 years of work experience) You have hands-on experience in design and engineering for Substations (Air Insulated Substation / Gas Insulated Substation) You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and well versed with tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, E-base, ELCAD etc. You've sound technical knowledge and in depth understanding of international and Indian standards. You've hands on design experience for multiple projects in substation design and have deep understanding of customer specification for several customers.
