Supports Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitoring materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; ensures maintenance of documentation and records. Sound Knowledge of Supplier Quality Improvement systems for Electrical & Electronics Commodities. Experience with discussions with suppliers and internal stakeholders like Engineering, Sourcing, and Customer Quality for new part developments of Electrical Systems. Conduct Process & System Audits at Supplier sites. Drive Quality improvements for Supplier Parts. Gap Identification & implementation of improvements at the Supplier end. Coordination with Plant Quality & Customer Quality for issue resolution. Conduct step3 & step6 activities in case of rejections. Drive Root cause analysis, Tear downs with the supplier in case of issues. Monitor PFD/ PFMEA/ Control plan/ SPQR/ MQV at supplier sites. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Source Release audits & approvals. Knowledge of GD&T and drawing. Knowledge of Manufacturing processes of Electrical & Electronics parts - products like Wiring harness, Battery, Control Panel. Drive zero defect methodology. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Electrical system parts (Wiring Harness, Relay, Control Panels) with a Diploma/BE Graduate qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or E&TC. More than 40% travel required to Supplier sites.
