System Administrator

As a System Administrator, your role will involve the installation, configuration, and administration of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server environments. You will be responsible for managing user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, role-based access, and privilege management. Additionally, you will handle mail server administration tasks such as setting up and troubleshooting Postfix, Sendmail, and Exchange Server. Your key responsibilities will include configuring network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls from brands such as Cisco, MikroTik, FortiGate, etc. You will also be in charge of DNS configuration and management, including working with forward/reverse lookup zones, internal/external DNS, and troubleshooting name resolution issues. Hardware troubleshooting, DHCP server configuration, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and monitoring server and network performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, and SolarWinds will be part of your daily tasks. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator, Linux System Administrator, Windows System Administrator, IT System Engineer, Server Administrator, Network and System Administrator, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) Administrator, and in Backup and Disaster Recovery - Proficiency in handling hardware troubleshooting, mail server administration, network configuration, DNS management, DHCP server configuration, backup & recovery, and monitoring & performance tuning - Location preference: Bangalore, Karnataka This full-time position offers benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund.
