Job Description

Job Summary:

System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain physical and virtual server environments (Linux/Windows).
Oversee overall
system administration
including user account management, patch management, and performance tuning.
Administer and support cloud infrastructure, particularly
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
.
Implement and manage
CI/CD pipelines
and deployment workflows.
Monitor server health, security, and uptime, implementing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Support
DevOps practices
, including configuration management, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Manage
domain services
, DNS configurations, and SSL certificate lifecycles.
Ensure data backups, system recovery, and compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to streamline operations and improve deployment reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience in
system administration
.
Strong experience with
AWS
services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, etc.).
Hands-on experience in
managing cloud and on-prem servers
.
Familiarity with
DevOps tools
such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, or Ansible.
Solid understanding of
CI/CD
concepts and tools.
Experience with
domain management
, DNS, and SSL configuration.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
