Job Description: GeM Seller Operator (1–2 Years Experience) Position: GeM Seller Operator / GeM Catalog Executive Experience Required: 1–2 years (mandatory experience as a Seller on GeM portal) Location: [Srinagar, J&K] – Work from Office (Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are hiring an experienced GeM Seller Operator with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in managing seller activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be solely responsible for product listing, catalog management, pricing, bid participation, order fulfillment, and ensuring high seller ratings on GeM. Key Responsibilities Manage GeM seller activities for SAPL, M/s Packmore and M/s Metro Offset Press Companies. Complete ownership of the company’s GeM seller profile and performance. Onboard new products/services on GeM (upload high-quality images, detailed specifications, OEM authorization letters, certificates, GST details, HSN/SAC codes). Regularly update and maintain the product catalog (price updates, stock status, offers, discounts). Participate in all types of bids: Direct Purchase, L1 bidding, Custom Bidding, Reverse Auction (RA), and Service Bids. Submit competitive quotations within deadlines and monitor bid status. Negotiate and counter-offer where allowed to win more orders. Process and accept purchase orders, generate invoices, and coordinate with logistics/dispatch team for timely delivery. Upload consignee receipts, delivery challans, and CRAC on GeM portal. Manage returns, replacements, refunds, and penalties efficiently. Track and improve Seller Rating, Service Rating, and Order Fulfilment Ratio. Handle payment reconciliation, TDS deduction issues, and release of payments from buyers. Resolve buyer queries, complaints, and feedback on the portal. Apply for and maintain OEM/Brand authorization, Reseller certificates, MSME, Startup India benefits wherever applicable. Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales, pending orders, payments, and ratings. Stay updated with all GeM seller policy changes, new features, and compliance requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications 1–2 years of proven experience as a GeM Seller Operator / GeM Catalog Manager (candidates with only buyer-side experience will not be considered). Thorough working knowledge of GeM seller dashboard, catalog management, and all bidding modes. Experience in handling OEM authorization letters, Make in India, MSE, GeM-specific certifications. Strong command over MS Excel (for bulk upload templates, price updates, reporting). Familiarity with Digital Signature Certificate (DSC Class 3), Aadhaar e-Sign, and GST portal. Good coordination skills with internal sales, logistics, and accounts teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict GeM deadlines. Education Any Graduate (B.Com / BBA / B.Tech preferred) GeM Seller Training Certificate or any authorized GeM course is a big plus.
