We are looking for a Lead Electro-mechanical Engineer who is good in advanced electrical engineering concepts and expertise in design and development of medium voltage protection and switchgear products. Education: M.Tech Power systems / B.Tech Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering Work Mode - Regular office Mandatory: Minimum 4 to 7 years experience in electrical/power/utility industry dealing with medium voltage protection and switching products Must have working knowledge in Autodesk inventor or SolidWorks 3d modelling and 2d drafting. Hands on experience in designing fault current interrupting products such as VCB/ACB or recloser or circuit breaker or fusing product design (any one preferred). Sound knowledge in designing medium voltage disconnecting switches and load breaking air insulated or gas insulated switchgears. Hands on experience in designing latching and actuating mechanisms for VCB/ACB/recloser/capacitor switches (any one preferred). Knowledge in arc plasma physics and its interruption Knowledge in electro-mechanical and electro-magnetic assemblies. Basic knowledge in magnetics design & selection of electro-mechanical actuators like solenoids & Cts or transformers. Basic experience in short circuit breaking test, di-electric testing, short time withstand current test and its result interpretation. Working knowledge in any one PDM and PLM software’s. Proficient in creating Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as well as fabrication drawings using Inventor and SolidWorks. Proficient in sheet metals, castings and plastic design and its manufacturing process.

Main responsibilities i. Understanding of complete Switchyard / Substation design & drawings including but not limited to (SLD / Layout / EKD / Cable Trench layout / Building GA / Earthing Layout / LV-HT Switchgear etc.). ii. Understanding of various interfaces with other disciplines like civil-electrical-mechanical. iii. Hands on experience in various electrical design calculations involved in switchyard / Substation. iv. To lead the single complete switchyard / substation. v. To understand & follow the technical specification of Switchyard / Substation. vi. Progress tracking and maintaining the Master Document List for Switchyard / Substation vii. Preparing and maintaining drawings and records. viii. Daily updating of project work to reporting manager. Profile & Eligible Criteria At least overall 5-10 years and above experience in Switchyard engineering Minimum educational qualification should be B.E or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Candidate must be ; Aware of all major equipment's & drawings & design documents involved in Switchyard / Substation. Must have hands on experience in switchyard/Substation design. Must be conversant with basic tools like Auto-cad / MS-office etc.

Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, SLD (Single Line Diagrams), wiring diagrams, and terminal schedules for all types of LV panels. Design control circuit schemes for MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and APFC panels. autocad exp.

- Custom Mechanical engineering of LV MV Switchgear orders. - Preparing Mechanical Bill of Material based on electrical/customer inputs using standard designs. - Design custom assemblies based on custom requirements, in case non-existence of standard assemblies. - Completing all the orders and projects with expected QUALITY. - Completing orders/projects within specified schedule. - Working on process improvement projects. - Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered. - Take up stretched assignments as and when needed. Required Competencies : - Mechanical Design Engineering knowledge. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assemblies. - Knowledge of Sheetmetal operations and processing. - 3D modeling and designing experience in ProE/Creo. Modules: Part, Sheetmetal, Assembly and Drawing. - To work in a virtual environment. (without seeing the product physically, as Manufacturing Plants are in North America). - Good in verbal and written communication. Should be able to interact with Electrical Engineers, Customers, Project Mangers and Trainers to seek design solutions. - Should be team player and be able to work in a multicultural team. - Good interpersonal and customer relation skills. Preferred Competencies : - Hands of experience in manufacturing, or if have worked closely with manufacturing will be an added advantage. - Designing and manufacturing experience in sheetmetal will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and use. - Ability to interpret basic front elevation, one-line, and schematic drawings. - Experience in mechanical design of low/medium voltage switchgear. We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager Design - Electrical to support the electrical system design of solar PV projects. The role involves creating detailed designs for DC, HT and AC systems, protection schemes, and grid interfacing for utility-scale and commercial solar installations. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of electrical systems including PV modules, inverters, ITD, Power transformers, and switchgear. Prepare single line diagrams (SLDs) plan layout, Electrical designs including DC wiring, AC wiring & HT wiring, Earthing layout, LA layout, ITD design, ICR design, etc. Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and utility requirements. Conduct system simulations using software like Sketchup, PVsyst, Helioscope, and ETAP. Collaborate with project teams for technical support during erection and commissioning of the project Prepare detailed BoM, BoQ for the project, also review vendor specifications. Assist in preparation of technical documentation for regulatory approvals and tenders. Assist field team for solving site problems related to project design. Bom & BoQ. Review the electrical designs / GADs received from vendors. Prepare project manual comprises design, safety standards etc. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. 3–5 years of electrical design experience, preferably in solar power projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Sketchup, ETAP, and electrical design software. Understanding of grid integration, protection, and protocols standards. Familiar with safety and electrical standards. Strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Design wiring schematics and specify required equipment for multi-layer power distribution systems. Creating and reviewing wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs. Define new product integration testing plans. Lead electrical design efforts during new product development projects such as selecting and qualifying electrical components, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility Work with domestic and international teams to develop and support products. Update engineering manager with regular reporting of progress and status. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience. 5+ years of experience in AC electrical system product design Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, EPlan, and others Experience designing to electrical specifications for power distribution offerings including switchgear, switchboards, transfer switches, loadbanks, and generators. Experience with the creation of detailed technical product documentation to support product manufacturing, functional testing, certification testing, and customer requests. Ability to specify safe and effective testing practices for prototype testing. Experience selecting and validating electrical power distribution components, such as Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Cable, Terminal Blocks, etc, based on application specific requirements and industry standard derating criteria such as the NEC, UL, and others, Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Control Panel Design Engineer Experience: 3-4 Years of relevant experience in the Understanding scope of supply, making BOM, Designing of Electrical control drawing like SLD, GA, of panels /Automation Systems.

Preparation of Key Single line diagram & Protection Single line diagram for 400kV- 765kV Gas Insulated & Air Insulated Switchyard. Knowledge of Switchyard SCADA System, SCADA interface with grid, Interface with Plant DDCMIS, PLCC and FOTE system.
