Senior Sales Executive – Packaging Industry Role Overview A **Senior Sales Executive** in the **packaging industry** is responsible for driving sales of packaging products and solutions (e.g., corrugated boxes, flexible packaging, rigid containers, labeling solutions, etc.). The role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and providing customized packaging solutions to industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, e-commerce, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted industries. * Generate leads through networking, cold calling, trade shows, and digital platforms. * Build a strong pipeline of potential clients for sustainable growth. 2. Client Relationship Management * Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers. * Understand client packaging needs and propose suitable solutions (material, size, print, eco-friendly options). * Manage pricing negotiations and contract finalization. 3. Technical Sales & Custom Solutions * Work with internal design and production teams to offer tailored packaging solutions. * Present technical details and value propositions of packaging products. * Ensure customer specifications are met in terms of material quality, design, and compliance (e.g., food safety, sustainability). 4. ** Sales Forecasting & Reporting** * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports. * Monitor sales performance vs targets and adjust strategies accordingly. * Provide market feedback on trends, competition, and client needs. 5. Market & Competitor Analysis * Stay updated on packaging innovations, industry trends (e.g., sustainable packaging), and regulatory changes. * Benchmark against competitors to improve offerings and pricing strategies.
