Survey Manager

Job Title: Senior Surveyor - Water / Irrigation Projects

• Conduct

  topographical, contour, and route surveys

  for water supply and irrigation pipelines, canals, treatment plants, and related infrastructure.
• Supervise and guide a team of surveyors and assistants for field data collection and layout execution.
• Prepare and verify

  survey drawings, alignment sheets, and cross-sections

  using modern surveying software.
• Ensure accuracy in

  centerline marking, excavation levels, structures positioning

  , and other construction benchmarks.
• Coordinate with

  Design, Planning, and Construction Teams

  to provide survey data and resolve alignment or level discrepancies.
• Utilize modern instruments such as

  Total Station, GPS, Auto Level

  for precise data acquisition.
• Maintain detailed

  records, survey logs, and as-built data

  throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality control procedures.
• Liaise with

  clients, consultants, and government agencies

  for survey verification and approvals.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior surveyors and field staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma / Degree

  in Civil Engineering or Surveying from a recognized institute.
• Minimum

  10 years of relevant experience

  in

  Water Supply, Sewerage, Canal, or Irrigation Projects

  .
• Strong expertise in

  route alignment, setting out, leveling, and earthwork calculation.

• Proficient in

  survey instruments

  (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level) and

  survey software

  (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound knowledge of

  surveying standards, safety practices, and quality control procedures.

• Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations as required.
