Surgical Gastroenterologist

Role Overview: Continental Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, is looking for a Consultant Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgical Gastroenterologist to join their team. As a part of this role, you will be working in a top-tier, NABH and JCI-accredited hospital alongside a proactive team of highly experienced doctors, nurses, and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to perform laparoscopic and robotic gastrointestinal surgeries and deliver the highest standard of personalized care to patients. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum 5 years of independent surgical experience in Gastrointestinal Surgery - Proven record of having performed: - 1,000+ laparoscopic surgeries - 100+ robotic surgeries - Advanced skill in bariatric surgery will be a strong advantage - Strong knowledge of surgical gastroenterology including oncology, hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), and colorectal surgery - Capable of independently handling complex surgical cases - Excellent clinical judgment and surgical planning skills - Must be well-presented, ethical, and confident in patient consultations and OR interactions - Adept at working in a team and training junior surgeons/fellows Qualifications Required: - Must be board-certified in Surgical Gastroenterology / GI Surgery (MCh/DNB or equivalent) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to collaborate with oncologists, hepatologists, and intensivists - Willingness to participate in clinical audits, academic presentations, and hospital CMEs,
