Job Description

This role involves being completely responsible for plant maintenance, overseeing equipment maintenance, and leading maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance within the organization. You will report directly to the Manager of Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering. Your responsibilities will include overseeing maintenance goal setting, scheduling activities, and managing performance to ensure measurable goals, goal satisfaction, and effective staff performance. You will supervise and implement continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Kaizen, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for preventive and condition-based maintenance to achieve maximum equipment availability and zero production downtime. Your duties will also involve developing and publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the correct utilization and maintenance of facilities within the unit. You will be tasked with the day-to-day general maintenance and monitoring of plant utilities, routine checks of machines and equipment used for production, planning and executing equipment and tools maintenance, and handling breakdown maintenance effectively. Moreover, you will maintain records of preventive and breakdown maintenance as per ISO and AS requirements, and implement continual improvements and SMED practices. As the ideal candidate for this role, you should possess a BE in E&C/E&E with 15-20 years of experience in maintenance or a BE in Engineering with 10-15 years of maintenance experience. Additionally, you should have functional competencies in TPM, knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturing preventive maintenance, SAP, and manufacturing safety practices.
