Job Title: Human Resource Manager – Mahindra Dealership Location: Hisar , Haryana Department: Human Resources Reports To: Dealer Principal / General Manager Team Size Managed: 500+ Staff Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, highly experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the HR operations for our Mahindra dealership, managing a workforce of over 500 employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll management, recruitment, statutory compliance (PF, ESI), and employee relations . This role demands a proactive leader who can address staff concerns promptly, ensure legal compliance, and foster a productive and engaged workforce. Key Responsibilities 1. Payroll & Statutory Compliance Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and labour laws . Liaise with auditors and government authorities during inspections and audits. Maintain meticulous records for payroll, attendance, and statutory deductions. 2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for all departments. Coordinate end-to-end hiring processes, from job posting to onboarding. Build a pipeline for sales, service, and support staff to ensure timely fulfillment of manpower needs. Implement skill assessment and behavioral evaluation during hiring. 3. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling Act as the first point of contact for staff concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Mediate conflicts and foster a positive, performance-driven workplace culture. Conduct regular employee engagement sessions to improve morale and retention. 4. Training & Development Identify training needs across departments and coordinate with Mahindra’s corporate training teams. Drive skill enhancement programs to improve productivity and service quality. 5. HR Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate employee records in HRM systems. Generate HR reports for management on manpower, attrition, payroll costs, and compliance status. Streamline HR processes for efficiency and transparency. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 7–10 years of HR management experience, preferably in large-scale retail, automotive, or manufacturing sectors. Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESI, payroll processing , and HR software. Proven ability to manage 500+ employees across multiple functions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Skills & Attributes Hands-on approach with strong operational HR skills.
