Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development:

Collaborate with Customer design and R&D teams to develop new components/products suitable for CNC machining.
Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models for manufacturability.

Process Planning:

Develop machining processes, select tools, and define CNC programs for new products.
Optimize cycle times and ensure efficient use of resources.

Prototyping & Validation:

Oversee prototype manufacturing and conduct trials.
Validate product performance against design specifications.

Tooling & Fixture Development:

Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling required for new products.
Coordinate with vendors for tooling procurement and development.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Work closely with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth product launch.
Support APQP, PPAP, and other NPD documentation requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Implement lean manufacturing principles in new product development.
