Support delivery

The role involves supporting the delivery of corporate IT services at the company by executing the local part of the corporate service process as defined by IT AS (IT Application service) or IT IS (IT infrastructure service). Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering additional local IT services to address specific requirements of the local company not covered by corporate IT services. You will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely corporate IT budget process within the company. This includes the management of all IT assets such as hardware, software, and service agreements. Your responsibilities will involve clarifying user requests with the responsible cost unit, as well as managing the lifecycle of assets from procurement to installation at user sites, reviewing settlement of accounts, and ultimately disposing of assets. It is essential to ensure that all IT assets are registered and updated in the central IT inventory. Your tasks will also include physical presence for server and network activities, such as patching network connections, installing and labeling server and network hardware in racks, and managing backup tapes. You will be responsible for documenting the local server and network infrastructure, including floor plans, LAN structure, location-specific hardware and software installations, and system rooms. In addition, you will be involved in distributing security-related software components to client computers, organizing and implementing relocations of IT workplaces and offices, and responding to and following through on all user requests. Any necessary escalations to 2nd Level Support should be made when required. You will be responsible for distributing and notifying IT standards, policies, and rules within the organization. Collaboration on local IT projects and new requirements will be coordinated with the assigned Technical Account Manager, involved teams in IT Infrastructure Services, and IT Application Services. Remote handling of employees based in different countries may also be required. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at the designated location.,
