Supply Chain Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Closely work with the Business Leaders to own and drive various initiatives across the organization (and externally)
• Use data and on-ground information to clearly identify the real problems beyond the symptoms
• Lead strategic projects such as cost reduction, cost optimization, reduction in delivery time
• Work on warehouse automation projects and implement techniques to improve efficiency
• Ideate and come up with different possible solutions for supply chain problems and propose the most optimal one.
• Drive project management for critical supply chain functions by collaborating with teams across the organization
• To design creative processes and systematic solutions in supply chain function that provide visibility and drive results for the organization in the most optimal way
• Define the approach for all the actionable steps. Build the required processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
• Define and set up KPIs and success metrics to monitor the health of the project. Prepare implementation guidelines and SOPs. Identify resources to work with
• Aiding in the development and implementation of key fundamental supply chain processes, systems and standards that build a world class supply chain organization

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on Supply Chain Initiatives
• Previous experience in Warehouse automation and related machinery
• Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Customer Service, Transportation
• Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
• Ability to drive successful partnerships with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and develop strategic roadmaps
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills when confronted with difficult situations exhibiting the ability to keep the team focused and motivated
