Job Description

As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in alignment with business goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, developing, and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks - Supporting business execution of new programs and initiatives such as promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns - Monitoring key sales and operations planning performance indicators and cost-to-serve performance data - Coordinating cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives In this Specialist Career Stream role, you will typically work as an individual contributor with responsibilities in a professional discipline or specialty. You will deliver and/or manage projects, collaborate with stakeholders to achieve desired results, and may act as a mentor to colleagues. Your autonomy as an established and productive individual contributor will involve working independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. You will be required to have a Bachelor's degree with 3-7 years of experience in a Supply Chain Planning role. Your practical knowledge and competence within the job area will be crucial for success in this role, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
