Role Overview: As a Procurement Engineer/Manager at the project site of an EPC/Industrial projects/Heavy-lift Execution/Consultancy firm, you will be responsible for procuring Custom Built Mechanical Equipment/Packages for EPC Projects. Your main tasks will include identifying potential vendors, issuing RFQs, evaluating offers from a techno-commercial perspective, negotiating contracts, and finalizing orders. Additionally, you will be involved in cost evaluation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, tracking commodity prices, and preparing procurement-related reports. You will also provide support to the tender team during the bidding process. Key Responsibilities: - Procure Custom Built Mechanical Equipment/Packages for EPC Projects - Identify potential vendors and float RFQ - Evaluate offers from a techno-commercial perspective - Negotiate and finalize procurement contracts - Perform cost evaluation including ZBC - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Engineering, Projects, Consultants, and Clients - Manage budgets and track commodity prices - Prepare internal and external reports related to procurement - Support the tender team during the bidding process Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech) - Experience range: 5-20 years Additional Company Details: The company is involved in EPC projects, industrial projects, heavy-lift execution, and consultancy services.
