Supply Chain Management Intern

As an Intern - SCM/Operations at CityFurnish, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Your role will involve strategically managing the warehouse, overseeing all functions related to operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing operational policies, ensuring health and safety standards, managing vendors, handling data management, and documenting SOPs. Key Responsibilities: - Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies, goals, and vision. - Oversee functions related to receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. - Maintain accurate records of inward and outward goods for seamless inventory tracking. - Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures for optimal workflow. - Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security at the warehouse. - Manage inventory levels through physical counts and data reconciliation. - Oversee vendor deployment and alignment with operational goals. - Prepare and manage Excel-based data reports for analysis and decision-making. - Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics operations. Qualifications Required: - Interest in operations, warehouse, and logistics management. Skills: - Excellent communication skills (written and oral). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively with blue-collar staff. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
