Job Description.

Education-

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or a related engineering field.

12. Knowhow of sheet proprietary vendors & process.

Supply Chain Management

• Material Planning & Scheduling:

• Execute part scheduling using

  MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

  to meet production demands.
• Monitor

  schedule adherence

  to ensure production timelines are met consistently.
• Ensure

  next-day coverage

  by verifying material availability on the previous day to prevent production halts.

• Inventory & Cost Control:

• Maintain

  optimum inventory levels

  to balance availability with carrying costs.
• Prevent part

  obsolescence

  during Engineering Change Note (ECN) implementations.
• Manage the

  salvaging of non-moving materials

  to reduce waste and optimize warehouse space.
• Target

  Zero Downtime

  by proactively addressing potential material shortages.

• Supplier & Vendor Management:

• Monitor and escalate

  supplier non-performance

  regarding quality or delivery delays.
• Adhere to the approved

  share of business (SOB)

  when allocating orders among vendors.
• Utilize specialized knowledge of

  sheet proprietary vendors

  and related manufacturing processes.

• Communication & Reporting:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Stores) in

  English and Hindi

  .
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports using

  MS Excel and PowerPoint

  .

• Software:

  Proficiency in Basic Computer Skills, specifically Advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
