Purpose of the Role

A Dispatch cum Logistics Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the dispatch and transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute daily dispatch operations

• Coordinate with drivers for timely movement of goods

• Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, LR, packing lists, and e-way bills

• Ensure accurate loading, packaging, and labeling of materials

• Track shipments and monitor delivery status until final destination

• Handle delivery delays, damages, shortages, and logistics issues

• Maintain dispatch records, transport bills, and logistics reports

• Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and transportation regulations

• Optimize routes and transportation costs to improve efficiency

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, sales, and inventory teams

• Verify freight bills and assist in cost control

• Ensure safe handling and storage during transportation

• Support inventory control and stock movement tracking

• Respond to customer and internal queries related to dispatch and delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Any Degree
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of transportation documentation and GST/e-way bills
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP, logistics software)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferrable Candidate:

• Male, Age - Above 30

• Qualification:

  Any Graduate / (MBA Logistics & Supply chain Management)

• Experience:

  5 - 10 Years Experience in Supply chain Management, preferably in crusher or construction materials industry like Cements, Paints, Steels, Aggregates , or RMC.
