Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of PV modules and module BoS materials for utility-scale and rooftop solar projects.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers/manufacturers in the solar industry.
Lead commercial and technical discussions with vendors in coordination with engineering and quality teams.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal cost and reliability.
Issue RFQs, prepare techno-commercial comparisons, and finalize purchase orders/contracts.
Coordinate with logistics, QA/QC, and project execution teams to ensure timely material availability at project sites.
Track market trends, technology updates, and supply-demand scenarios in the solar module domain.
Maintain supplier performance metrics and ensure adherence to company procurement policies and compliance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:
B.E./B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics) or equivalent. MBA in Supply Chain / Operations preferred.
Experience:
510 years in procurement of PV modules and module BoS from reputed solar EPC or module manufacturing companies.
Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Sound understanding of solar module technology and specifications
Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and MS Office
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
