Position summary: To oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement process for our solar energy division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the solar supply chain, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in sourcing critical components such as PV modules, inverters, structures, and BOS (Balance of System) components for solar projects. This role will ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement to support the successful execution of solar projects (utility-scale and/or C&I). Roles & Responsbilites: Procurement Strategy & Planning Develop and implement the solar division's procurement strategy aligned with project timelines and budgets. Analyze market trends and supplier landscapes for strategic sourcing. Sourcing & Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors for key solar equipment and materials. Contract Management Lead the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, and supply agreements. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Cost & Risk Management Continuously monitor procurement costs and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supplier risks, lead time delays, and price volatility. Coordination with Internal Teams Collaborate closely with engineering, project execution, quality, and finance teams to ensure alignment on technical specifications and delivery requirements. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or contract disputes. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory norms. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance. Expereince & Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus). Minimum 10-15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector. Solar Cell sourcing experience from China is plus.
