As a Supply Chain Demand Planning Analyst based in Pune, India, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Engineering Mathematics, Operations/Logistics, Statistics, Inventory Management, and Production Planning analytics to provide solutions for Clients' Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, and Forecasting challenges. Working under the guidance of the Principal/Program Manager, you will collaborate with Clients/Program Managers to analyze extensive sales data, apply industrial planning expertise, and use tools like SAP IBP/APO, Forecast Pro, and other Forecasting software to refine data for analysis. Your key responsibilities will include: - Gathering extensive sales data and conducting thorough analysis to deliver demand planning solutions. - Reviewing and examining sales data to identify financial ratios impacting the supply chain. - Developing customized mathematical models to interpret sales data and determine the most efficient outcomes. - Optimizing methods to assist clients in demand planning decisions and policy formulation. - Creating detailed project reports for client evaluation, review, and implementation. - Educating clients, internal analysts, and supply chain stakeholders on sales data to enhance demand forecasts and logistics. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Masters degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Management, or a related field, OR - Two years of professional experience in Operations & Supply Chain Management with a focus on Demand/Sales/Supply planning & Forecasting. - Experience in a fast-paced environment and proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI, Advanced Excel. - Exposure to programming languages such as Python, SQL, R would be advantageous. - Excellent communication skills in English and a strong analytical mindset.
