Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Mathematics Instructor to join our academic team at Newton School of Technology. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Engineering Mathematics , strong teaching abilities, and a passion for mentoring B.Tech students in a high-impact academic environment. You will play a key role in curriculum design, classroom instruction, lab facilitation , and student mentoring , while also contributing to academic innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Course Design and Instruction Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and assessments in core mathematical subjects including: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Optimization Tailor content delivery to match the academic level and learning pace of B.Tech students. Student Mentorship Guide and mentor students through their academic journey. Assist with assignments, projects, and concept reinforcement sessions. Lab and Application Integration Design and lead lab sessions using mathematical tools and software. Integrate theoretical concepts with real-world applications in computing and data science. Curriculum Development and Collaboration Continuously update course content in collaboration with faculty and industry experts. Align mathematical instruction with emerging fields such as AI, ML, Cryptography, and Data Analytics. Research & Innovation Encourage research-based learning and support students in academic or industry-driven research projects. Participate in faculty development and cross-disciplinary academic initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Haves: 2–4 years of teaching or industry experience involving Engineering Mathematics Deep understanding of core topics: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Optimization. Strong communication and conceptual clarity. Ability to engage students and simplify complex mathematical ideas. Commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning. Good-to-Haves: Prior experience teaching B.Tech students in a classroom or lab setting. Familiarity with tools such as: Desmos, GeoGebra, MATLAB, R, or Python (NumPy/Matplotlib). Exposure to applied domains: AI/ML, Data Science, Cryptography. Essential Functions Responsible for following customer provided test procedures. May work with Sales and Design Engineering to resolve technical problems. Maintains test procedures and test documentation as required. May set-up standard test apparatus and run environmental tests. Analyzes and interprets test data. Confirms correct operation of digital and analog electronic equipment for audio and communication applications. Performs fault isolation function. Follows approved board level and system test procedures and ensures correct equipment operation for a full range of self-manufactured and purchased product. Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills IPC Certification is a plus. Education in electronics or related fields is a plus. 2+ years experience in electronics manufacturing or specifically PCB assembly.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Content Development & Problem Solving: a.)Develop and review high-quality academic content, including complex numerical problems and detailed solutions in Engineering Mathematics and b)General Aptitude as per the GATE BT and CSIR NET Life science syllabus c)Create practice questions, quizzes, and mock tests with step-by-step explanations. d)Analyze GATE BT exam patterns and curate topic-wise question banks to address key areas. 2. Conceptual Teaching & Online Sessions: a) Conduct engaging and interactive online lectures, webinars, and doubt clearing sessions on Engineering Mathematics. b)Simplify complex mathematical concepts such as Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Probability, and Numerical Methods. c) Integrate real-world examples and applications to bridge the gap between theory and practical problem-solving. 3. Assessment & Feedback: a)Assess students understanding through periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback. b)Develop model answers and explanations for assignments and test papers. c)Guide students in effective problem-solving techniques and time management strategies specific to the GATE BT exam. 4. Content Review & Quality Assurance: a) Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GATE BT and CSIR NET Life science standards in all academic content. b) Stay updated with the latest GATE BT syllabus changes and incorporate relevant topics and question types into study materials. 5. Student Engagement & Mentorship: a) Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction. b) Provide personalized academic guidance, addressing individual student challenges in Engineering Mathematics. Key Requirements: Educational Qualification: Masters/Ph.D. in Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, or a related field. Subject Expertise: a)Strong grasp of core topics in Engineering Mathematics relevant to GATE BT, including: i) Linear Algebra: Matrix operations, Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors ii)Calculus: Limits, Differentiation, Integration, Multiple Integrals iii)Differential Equations: Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations Probability and Statistics: iv)Probability distributions, Random Variables, Hypothesis Testing v)Numerical Methods: Iterative methods, Error analysis, Interpolation General aptitude Experience: i)Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Engineering Mathematics, preferably for GATE and general aptitude or other competitive exams. ii)Proven ability to solve complex mathematical problems and effectively explain step-by-step solutions. Skills & Competencies: i)Excellent communication and presentation skills. ii) Proficiency in online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams) and content creation software (PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.). iii)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. iv) Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts and present them in a student-friendly manner. Preferred Skills: i)Experience in creating study materials, question banks, and video content for GATE BT or similar exams. ii)Knowledge of online teaching platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS). iii)Experience in conducting live mock tests and analyzing student performance.
